The meeting location would be shared with the successfully registered participants later.\nPGSC offic ially commenced operations on 17 October 2011 with the objective \;of being a repository for multiple types of geological samples from PETRONAS& nbsp\;and Petroleum Arrangement Contractors (PACs) domestic and internatio nal \;operations. All geological samples in PGSC are preserved in spec ial composite \;boxes for future analysis. \;\nSpanning a total ar ea of 101\,112 square feet\, PGSC has a massive storage area \;compris ing a 32-row racking system containing 12 levels. The huge storage \;c apacity is planned for preservation activities for the next 30 years.
